Getting started

From signup to a live job file

SiteOS is a real product for your company — not a slideshow. Here is the path most UK builders take in the first week.

  1. 01

    Create your company account

Sign up with your company name and work email. You get a 90-day trial with full access — no card required to start.

You become the owner. Invite site managers, office staff and view-only users whenever you are ready.

  2. 02

    Open a job file

Add the project address, client and team. Everything that follows — diary, drawings, snags, invoices — hangs off that one job.

No more hunting for “which WhatsApp group was this photo in?” when the client asks for evidence.

  3. 03

Run the job day to day

Diary and photos from site. Drawings and H&S in the office. Snags and variations as they appear. Everyone looks at the same file.

Roles keep permissions sensible: site can record; office can bill; clients can see what you choose to share.

  4. 04

    Invoice, CIS and close out

Applications, retention, CIS and purchase orders sit on the same job. Export or hand over when the build is done.

Month-end stops being a scavenger hunt across folders, phones and the bookkeeper’s inbox.

Scaffold and brickwork on a UK build

On a live job

Site and office stay on the same page

When the site manager posts the diary, the office sees it. When a variation is approved, it is already attached to the job that will invoice it. That is the whole point of a job file.
